100% agree with this. Imagine you had a boss who constantly criticized you and create a toxic work environment. The boss decides the best way to make sure you're doing your job correctly is to stick a camera on you and review every single thing you do on your job.

The outcome of that is certain. The criticism will be more intense and the toxic work environment doesn't change.

Market forces will prevail here. Good and skilled cops will leave. People who would otherwise apppy that have other good options will not chose Seattle. That doesn't actually help solve anything. Overall police quality will decrease, and the issues we're currently seeing will not get better.
