Speaking bad on the dead? Nice.

speaking negatively about the dead is at the very least in bad taste

Why, though? His actions not only caused his life but could have endangered dozens more lives. He was not "unfortunately" killed. He knew what was going to happen to him considering how it is well documented how the Sentinelese regard outsiders. And he's dead. Why does it matter? Is it in bad taste to talk about people who potentially harm others because of their moronic decisions? I'm not saying he is Hitler but I don't see people expecting us to talk about Hitler in good taste. Respect for the dead is rather subjective.

Also, it was his person that caused his own demise ,and again, we need to mention how his person chose to potentially eradicate an entire group of people from the face of the planet because of his religion. Yeah, I don't understand why you are against vilifying him as a person just because he is dead. I don't think ethically it is wrong to do so, especially when consequences could have been dire. He intentionally placed himself in that position and ignored the warnings of the deadly harm he could potentially have done to the Sentinelese. He doesn't deserve respect.
