If one person votes for Trump and the other votes for Hilary, that is a 1-1 vote for both of them. If one person votes for Trump and the other votes for Stein, that is a 0-1 vote for Hilary and Trump. Trump does not gain a vote. Someone who votes Trump gives Trump one vote. Someone who votes third party gives Trump 0 votes. I don’t understand how that’s difficult to grasp.
Someone who isn't voting for Clinton or democrats in Congress is +1 to help trump and Republicans, because they found have been +1 for Hillary and democrats. Math doesn't change the electoral system. Go take a civics class.
