Speculation: Fire and sparks in engine bay on the way up not nominal and symptom/sign of whatever was the RUD cause?

Yes, I get the feeling the Raptors are going to be the "weak link" in the chain, standing in the way of Starship success for now.

But they are an entirely revolutionary new engine design, so it may require the manufacture of more Raptors (as compared to Merlins) to get them working reliably.

Good thing SpaceX now has more resources, as compared to the Merlin development era, to get this job done!

Allthough the drawback if it turns out the Raptors need some serious design overhauls... is that we could be adding a year or two to the development process... hopefully not.

I really want to see Starship flying regularly to low-Earth-orbit, in order to complete the Starlink constellation more rapidly. Starlink funding in the near future will become critical to success of the human Mars missions, if we're going to achieve that this decade.
