Speech and hearing science majors: what are you doing after graduation?

I graduated from another university with an undergrad degree in speech and hearing science. I now attend OSU in the Doctorate of Audiology program. I would say most students in this undergrad major (throughout the country) go on to get their masters in Speech-Language Pathology or Doctorate in Audiology. I’ve known others in this major that have gone on to get a masters in healthcare administration, child life specialist certification, and intervention specialist certification. If you’re in this major and not sure about SLP vs. audiology or even if either of these is a good fit for you I definitely recommend to shadow both professionals AND speak with your advisor about other career or graduate degrees options.
