What had worked for me was a shallow bowl of clean water (blessed/natural/collected rain ect) whatever u have but make sure ur effort, energy, and intent is in every ingredient you work with then add sugar just like water whatever type that relates spiritually to what ever ur objective is. U can add a candle in the middle like yellow, orange or blue (look up candle color meaning) white is great also. Then ur bay leaves messages under the bowl. Just gather ur materials you feel is suitable in your workings if you dont have what you think you need then find a meaningful replacement.
