Spending a ridiculous amount of time deciding/researching

I do the same thing :(

I found that the ONLY way I can get around this is- just pick something. Silly and simplistic as it sounds. I will literally be out of shampoo and then have a meltdown at the store bc I can’t decide on price and smell and size & committing to a whole bottle. So I just pick the first one that seems to cross off most of my criteria- so I’ll pick the second or third cheapest one, with a nice smell, and the medium sized one (not the small one, plastic waste; not the biggest one, commitment issues). Amazon-the-devils-website has been helpful too bc when I realize I need something, I just order it then and there bc otherwise I’ll talk myself out of buying it/it’ll take too long to make a decision.

For chores like how to clean things- just pick a method bc likely it’ll need to get cleaned again anyways. e.g. I just moved into a new place: my bathtub- it’s old & it stains easily. So picking a way to clean it = always a mystery on if that cleaning method is gonna work or not. But I know I’ll have to clean it next week anyways so putting less pressure on “it has to be perfect” vs “it just needs to be scrubbed down real fast” helps. Doing something at 20% is better than none at all….is what I preach. I hope to get better at practicing this for all aspects of my life aha

I also find that when I’m having that much difficulty making a decision, it’s also usually time for my med dose soooo
