I never expected to like this movie so much, it's a milestone in the superhero genre and animation. A day after, I'm still processing it, it's probably my favorite superhero movie ever.
Two things :
while watching it, I didn't realize how clever was the "twist" on the death of Spider-Man's uncle. I think it's Spider-Gwen who says "we've all been through this" and it hit me like a ton of brick.
during Miles's leap of faith, the animation was crazy good and I thought "wow it has vibes of 9/11, people jumping from the twin towers". I don't know, it's creepy, but something reminded me of it. But then the webs are being shot, Miles recovers and I swear I saw the skyline of the new World Trade center. And again, I thought, wow that's a smart symbol.
And they stole a bagel !
