In the spirit of Halloween, what is the scariest (paranormal or not) experience you have ever had?

I watched Dark Legacy II the other night and it freaked me out a bit...

Long story short: I think Catholic ghosts from the JFK era freaked out mourning in my creepy childhood home when JFK Jr. died.

Quick backstory: I grew up in an old house in MA. The previous tenants were clearly catholic (and old), we were members of the church down the street as well. There were old wooden nun beads hanging in the attic, shed, basement, etc. We lived there almost 15 years and it always felt like we were being watched, many family members have brought up their own stories over the years. I don't generally believe in the paranormal, yet I still feel like "oh no what if it followed me" and I still have monthly nightmares about the place.

Anyway, it's been years since we moved but I never forgot my scariest night there: My windows were shut, my bedroom door was shut, my family was asleep, my bed was beside my closet door (ALWAYS shut.) On a random night (7 years old at the time) I was startled awake by a group of fervent female voices singing (perfectly synchronized and in tune yet freakish sounding) "John F Kennedy, John F Kennedy, JOHN F KENNEDY!!!" Raising an octave and in pace with every repetition of the name. My eyes snapped open and the closet door was wide open with a bang and I could've swore I felt the breeze, but I digress. All I remember feeling was panic and urgency. A few years later when my class was learning about JFK I actually didn't pay any attention to the lesson because it made me feel upset still. This stayed the same until last year when I started reading a lot about former presidents and I didn't understand why I would have a nightmare about a former president I hadn't even learned about at the time. Watching the documentary it hit me, "Maybe the old catholic ghosts in the house were freaking out about JFK Jr. dying?" It happened sometime between '97 and '99 before my mom met her boyfriend...it was definitely in that time frame.
