Splitting 50/50 is asked only to average women?

rs, weekends away to other cities etc etc, and i find it a turn off. Sure, it's nice when a partner does these things for you, but to me it seems sleazy in the beginning dating stages.

I've replied to another comment that I have asked out men before (including my current and previous partner), so yes, I think whoever asks should pay. Generally, I think that it is polite then, if a second date occurs, the non payer from date # 1 pays.

I wouldn't have an issue if a man asked me out and expected us to split - its not what I would do, but its also ok. I have only asked out men that I wanted a relationship with, but I get that some men basically spam women until one says yes, so I guess that could become costly over time...
