I don't watch it but BPD is the new sensational mental illness. It used to be schizophrenia with every serial killer/rapist in a tv show having it all of a sudden (looking at you, Law & Order SVU), then it was bipolar disorder with every female of a certain age sleeping around, shouting at everyone and generally being difficult and noooowwww it's BPD. Guess we'll have to wait 10 - 20 years for people to either get bored or psychiatrists to come out with something else.

In the meantime, we're just going to have to deal with ignorant TV shows and people making posts self diagnosing their ex's instead of acknowledging both parties were cunts in the relationship.
