I was really impressed with Courtney the first time she appeared ... and actually, I still am. However, when I found out that she had already competed in The Voice Kids (UK) and that Simon was a judge at the time she competed, it sort of bothered me. Courtney came in 6th, so it's not as if she didn't have enough time to make an impression or be remembered by Simon. Her shy act now seems sort of fake to me, mostly because she has also had a stint playing young Cosette in Les Miserables. With all of her experience in previous competitions and being on the stage, it seems like her shyness is really just an act. I also feel that AGT should have been more forthcoming about her previous appearances in competitions where Simon was one of the judges.
