you’re completely correct .... and it is typical UFC line cutting for promotional gain off Jose Aldo’s name (which I... thought wasn’t a drawl B?)

But part of me feels like giving Aldo a pass for this relatively unfair title shot because of what he had to go through after Conor beat him. At that time, 5 years ago, Aldo was well deserving of a rematch. But nooooo Conor wants RDA. Meanwhile the whole featherweight division just took a log jam up the ass. Then UFC 200 came and Aldo proved he was still the #1 Contender. Then the Toranto Card with max came and he beat pettis for the interim (Max chipping away at his long win streak). Im going off on a tangent here but my point was, I always felt like Aldo deserved better because he lost his longtime title so fast and never got a rematch.
