[SPOILER] Jimi Manuwa vs. Aleksandar Rakic

His head coach would coach the mma class and in my opinion even back then as a newbie I could pick apart problems with his methods. There are more specifics but it would be a bit long to get into. He taught an aggressive style of striking but to me there was not enough breakdown and defence. So Jimi started as a 28 year old and was taught and allowed to concvince himself he was a knockout artist. But that does not make sense because the first thing you should teach a guy who started late is proper defense in my opinion anyway. Quite frankly you should not teach any fighter that he is a ko artist unless you teach him very good defence.

The problem I saw is with the way he was taught and how he would react to certain situations felt like he was not well schooled on certain things. A lot of it goes back to a very big deal that is not talked about much in mma. The fact that there are few very good coaches.
