MMA judging has always been a nightmare. They are all the same judges used by commissions for boxing and they don't even get their sport right, MMA stands no chance.

Combat sports judging needs more qualifications, there should be extensive training and research that goes into your job as a judge and you should be required to show competence like any other job. If we are making a wish list can we at least get people with an expressed interest in the sport(s). The amount of sacrifice fighters and everyone involved make it shouldn't be left to random bystanders.
