[Spoiler](#s "Test")

I'll likely be one of the moderators leaving with this next wave, so I'm putting my best in this process. Let's check everyone out:

Slot 1 (Best Overall Candidate)

  • /u/Blissful_Altruism: Tried so hard to find a different candidate, but damn if they're not an amazing choice. There are a few comments here and there to improve, but overall their frequency + general courtesy is top notch.

Slot 2 (West Evening/East Daytime Candidates)

  • /u/Kliuqard: The XB1 presence would be a nice thing to have, plus their schedule seems pretty consistent so far. Didn't mention any issues with the subreddit, so they may not have a full-scope of activities. Also found multiple comment mentions of tiredness, so I'm unsure how awake they'll be for moderator duties. However, I've selected Kliuqard as a candidate for "encouraging positivity" (which is much needed now), and for this extremely well-measured response. I think with a bit of polish, they have what it takes.
  • /u/AmazingPorpoise: Pretty decent comment history with very frequent activity and great tone! Also aced the questions pretty handily with a history to back it up.

Slot 3 (2nd Draft Picks w/ preference to Slot 2 Criteria)

  • /u/Sasukesnake07: Not a frequent enough poster but they did have some surprisingly good ideas of what they wanted to do if chosen. They also asked follow-up questions, which I've tried to answer! Ultimately they've got a fantastic attitude and I think they're a worthwhile candidate above the rest.
  • /u/SubterraneanTarantul: Good stuff here! The US location + fluctuating activity is a bit troubling, but they have the right attitude.
  • /u/DapperMuffin: Critical of the game but still very helpful to others. The South East Asia timezone is also a big bonus. Has good ideas and ambitions for the subreddit, and I admire that tenacity!

Honorable Mentions

  • /u/Dark_Magicon: Do they have time to mod?. Also, they may need a major attitude adjustment. However, the AUS timezone and lack of truly Taric comments still makes them a contender, albiet a lower priority one.
  • /u/DoomZero755: Their answers for the questions are pretty spot-on, like an interviewer's dream. It's almost... too perfect. Unfortunately their comments are not as constrained as modding here requires. That discipline can be taught though, with the right guidance and an open mind.
  • /u/OverwatchTracer: A bit critical of the game but has a lax attitude to sharing it. Generally nice overall and exhibits good qualities!
  • /u/Tyoccial: Good attitude, decent post history to match. While I wouldn't like to select him for the role, there's great potential here for future involvement.
  • /u/Sanitaurus: A very positive application and comment history! Though they are not the most active, definitely has the right attitude and approach. The idea of analyzing negativity and creating activities in response is INCREDIBLE initiative!
  • /u/boat_: Much newer user but has potential. AUS player is a huge plus, and has prior community management experience.
  • /u/Exastiken: Active user and relatively clean comment history, nighttime West Coast. His #3 suggestion for helping users understand the feedback loop between community and DE is quite intriguing! It's idealistic and may backfire, but I absolutely love the intent.

In Regards to Khuon's remaining mentions (fite me)

  • /u/TSP-FriendlyFire: I know firsthand that they're very opinionated and unable to let things go. They've been involved in some situations in the past, and will need much more maturity before I can consider them for Moderator.
  • /u/squidthesid: Unfortunately, this recently removed comment is pretty damning. Going to need someone with a consistent temperament and a better attitude

Overall: Interesting the number of folks who applied reporting such good temperaments, only to be totally disproven by their recent comment histories xD
