this is just sword fighting, acendants get to keep their strength, but not magics.

1.) traveler - mok was 3rd, and getting better, so this would probably be an amazing fight 2.) segulah 2nd - i mean hes above mok so i gues he goes here 3.) mok (in his prime) - tool knew there was no way hed win just by watching him make one sword cut, so hes well above him 4.) rake - mok wasnt afraid that rake was 8th, chalk it up to arregance, but i think rake cant be the best swordsman in the workd AND super powerful at magic. so while its close, in a straight up martial fight, i think mok wins. 5.)draconus - him and rake fought for 3 days straight before rake won. granted hes been out of commission for a while, but he did kill kilamandaros pretty easily. 6.) cotillion he killed a handful of tistii edur with his rope, and hes an amazing assassin. rake seems wary of him too, and i think he could probably take karsa 7.) apsalar shes got cotillions skills, so shes even with him. 8.) karsa- was amazed at rake and traveler fighting, implying hes below him, he mostly just uses brute force, and people of the top rank have shown they are much stronger than their size implies, so his style of fighting wouldnt be as useful against them, also karsa still gets better everytime you see him, so hell prob rise to best ever in the trilogy. 9.) tool - hes at the top of his game, i could see him winning against karsa but only if he could use his magic teleporting act, which weve said they cant use. 10.) blues - best of the crimson guard, hes probably around here. 11.) brys - hes got the skill of the top tier, but not the super strength 12.) yeden deryg - lets forget he killed the forkrul assail, they were either watered or that was just horrible writing on the part of erikson. the hust sword made him better than he was, so lets put him at the top tier of the mortals

honorable mention. trull - hes ok with a spear, but people give him much more credit than hes worth, he had the best fight of his life and that was to just stall icarium for a while. icarium - nothings said hes any kind of great swordsman, all his power comes from not being able to stop him due to magic
