(Spoilers All) A quote from Sophie Turner about how her arc in Season 5 goes that I think needs to be brought up again in light of recent developments.

My prediction for the overall arc is she's going to lose her virginity this season. And it won't be some terrible rape scene either. Think how Dany handled Drogo. Like that. In fact I predict Ramsay won't hurt her and in fact Sansa's manipulation of him will actually make him care about her. At some point Roose leaves Winterfell leaving Ramsay alone there. Brienne takes a combined role of Abel and the Ghost of Winterfell. Pod takes the role of a spearwife which unfortunately means he likely dies. Sansa, Theon, Brienne escape.

As far as the rest, as soon as I read the episode synopsis "Stannis remains stubborn" first thought that came to mind was winter, cold, snow. He gets bogged down on his way to Winterfell and Davos urges him to turn around and he refuses. I think this is where a Pink Letter might come in. Without Roose to act as a buffer Ramsay flies off the deep end after realizing he's been played and sends the letter to Jon. They can even keep the "I want my bride back", "I will have my bride back".

After episode 8 Jon rescues thousands of Wildlings from Hardhome and a massive Wight attack and brings them to the Wall. His season long arc of being torn about whether or not to ride south ends as he gets the letter and learns about Sansa in episode 10. The recused Wildlings led by Tormund feel indebted to him for saving them and pledge to fight for him and follow him to Winterfell to liberate it and rescue Sansa. Then the stabbing takes place.

So, yeah. It leads you to pretty much the exact same point as we are now in the books. A different path with a similar result. Pretty much what thy promised. Am I going to be 100% right? No, of course not. But I think I'm on the right track here of how it's going to play out. We'll see.
