There sure is a lot of complaining, when you consider the alternative that was likely to happen is: no more Berserk anime. Instead, at least I can watch an animated adaptation of Berserk because I love it so much.

Also, I've grown to like it after awhile. The movies may have helped ease me into accepting this type of animation as long as I get what I want.

Essentially, what I'm saying is: if it's easier/cost-effective to animate using alternative methods, then I'd at least give it a shot to see many different series get animated. There are plenty of series that lack a 2nd, 3rd, etc. season or haven't been animated as of yet.

Another example: I didn't like Log Horizon 2nd Season as much as the first due to the animation change or just crappy animation/design, overall. However, the voices, story, and characters all remain pleasant and exactly how they were.

Ironically enough, I'd imagine fans would feel differently if this were a fan animation presented by say, for example, "Japan Animator Expo". I'd assume it would be well received, rather.
