[SPOILERS] Cursed Child Mega-thread! The Magic Continues!

Oh dear! This is my worst fear come true! And it sounds so silly when you stop and think about the plot.

(spoiler) I hate cliche time travel stories. We watch our characters come so far and so I feel a story should only move forwards, but instead the play is taking us backwards in time to a place we have already explored. It becomes predictable then - people ceasing to exist, characters lives completely change and it will only end in a very predictable way: one of the surviving characters (in this case, Scorpius) who knows that time has been changed goes and finds a way to reverse time and make everything is well again. I wanted to know more about what is going on now, for the show to explore where our characters ended up and their relationship with each other. I honestly thought Albus would find a dark object and start to fall into the Dark Arts. It would have been far more interesting. It's like The Flash again, but nowhere near as good!

I may gave been able to eventually forgive the time travel thing once I know everything is put right again but there is a lot of very silly things in the play that I can't consider canon. I can't believe our smart and witty Jo wrote a few of these things or at least, approved them. The whole Scorpius/Voldemort thing is just silly and childish. I mean, really? It's not even that funny. I hope that wasn't really put in the play. The relationship between Harry and Albus went quite far fetched. The argument between Harry and Draco sounds even more ridiculous. Grow up. And when Harry brought up what people say about Scorpius and Voldemort? I mean, really? I would love to say these are fake spoilers, but the same things have appeared on more than one website now.
