[Spoilers] [Discussion] The Green Arrow that Kills!!

Don't care about the comics - Who cares? Let Arrow be Arrow - it's way better when he kills people. I like the dark, broody Oliver.

Know a bit about the character; watched the cartoons; maybe read a few issues - NOOOOO! Traditional Oliver Queen is super happy all the time. He should be making jokes and shooting people with weird trick arrows. Also he should NOT BE KILLING PEOPLE.

Read a good chunk of Green Arrow stuff - Ollie killing folk with sharp, pointy arrows? Yep that's fine. The "no-killing" rule would be great if the show was stuck in the 70s. Even after Ollie entered the adventure story era in the 2000s, he would still put the occasional deadly arrow in people. In Arrow he could be happier but angry Ollie is a staple of the comics.

The only difference between Comics Ollie and Show Oliver in regards to killing is that the show almost solely features people who deserve it. Comics GA when his "killing spree" was at its highest did have less of a kill count. That's because they were mostly mystery stories. He'd kill the real scum-of-the-earth (unless he was assisting the police) but mostly he came across street punks and people down on their luck who didn't deserve it. Plus stories usually ran over 2+ issues and issues were monthly, so...
