(Spoilers Extended) DISCUSSION: Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 In-Depth Post-Episode Discussion

Does everyone remember The Return of the King? Yeah, that one movie, the one at the end of the Lord of the Rings trilogy? Yeah. That one. Do you remember how good that send off to our favorite characters was? Do you remember tearing up as the Hobbits all said their goodbyes to Frodo, and Bilbo, and Gandalf? No? You're lying, because I STILL tear up. That was a good send off. In case you don't remember: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTstBMkeAH8 HERE.

Now you know the crazy thing? If you only ever watched the films, you spent anywhere from 7-10 hours with these characters. This send off is impactful. You want to know something else crazy? With close to 80 hours, D&D couldn't manage even a 10th of the emotional impact in their send away for characters that we have spent almost 10x as much time with.

I'm just floored. I turned the TV off at the end of this episode and felt NOTHING. No a single thing.

I just can't believe it.
