(Spoilers Extended) DISCUSSION: Game of Thrones Season 7, Episode 4: The Spoils of War In-Depth Post-Episode Discussion

I really find it almost impossible to discuss anything but the Field of Fire 2.0. I thought Jon was being smart with Theon but Dany really just took her screamers with her along with Drogon and burnt the Lannisters.

First of all where was Vision and Rhagael? They could have joined in on the burning like they did last season. I think Dany messed up and carried away, the Dothraki were doing what they raised to do and no one is better than them in open battle. They were winning and besides breaking the Lannister formation Drogon wasn't adding much, I think.

I think it has been said many times on this subreddit but Dragons are Nukes and they are best used as a deterrent. They need to keep their mystic and grandeur because if they are shown to be vulnerable then every damn castle is going to have those things large crossbows. Think of Harrenhall.

It was a great decision because the supply line was destroyed, but that gold made it to Kings Landing. Drogon should have been used more sparingly and probably should have bowed out earlier. The Dothraki are awesome and have finally been treated right this episode.

As a fantasy lover and dragon fanatic this episode was the best for me, I was so damn giddy.
