[Spoilers] Juuou Mujin no Fafnir - Episode 6 [Discussion]

It's more complicated than that. It's not just about what is bad, it's why it's bad for me.

My point is recognizing you can't recognize what "makes a good series good" there is no such thing. Thanks to diverse opinion. Which is just fine.

Dues ex machina and all fallacious plot augmentations can work just fine, if it works the way you like it. It depends on why you're in it in the first place.

I'm probably stating the obvious here, but all the reading around the sub I have done makes me wonder if it's necessary; so I'll throw in my two cents on my favorite series.

My top 3 ever are, Stein's;Gate, The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiai, and Elfen Lied.

I think that's an odd mix, but to overoddify it, I started watching anime when it first happened. I watched Akira back in 1988 when it was first released to the U.S. same with the 1995 G.I.T.S. movie. I was completely addicted to Robotech (Macross whatever your preferred name is) when I was a teenager.

I like anime because I knida grew up with it. The series I give top scores to though are odd ball. 2 series "most" people would agree are extremely popular and an odd ball series a lot of people hate on. So do I fail? No, I know what I like and I know what I don't like. It's come down to (for me) that I am a plot person. I like a solid plot, that makes a shit ton of sense, everything connects and the plot holes are few and far between. Sure, you can poke holes in all three of my favorites, nothing is flawless. But the bottom line is that i enjoyed going through them more than I enjoyed going through anything else. For all the hate Elfen Lied gets, it taught me something; I'm not going to elaborate on it here because it's irrelevant but you get the point.

I hated Madoka, I think it's pretty boring, predictable and uninteresting. A vast majority of people would disagree with me. So what?

Blah blah, I could expound on this forever but that's not my point. My point is different things appeal to different people and nobody is right. It's interesting to read about what other people think, and I like to juggle my opinion VS. theirs and wonder why?

I wish this sub understood that better than it does. But you know, your wifu is shit seems to always trump everything. I would like to see people doing a better job of listening to other's opinions than being so quick to shoot them in the face about it.
