(Spoilers Main) Here's an article about the ways the show screws up the books

The original Jaime/Cersei sex scene beside Joffrey's corpse is in no way "sweet." It's worse, just in a better way. I've never understood this idea that if Jaime hadn't so blatantly forced himself on her, that scene would be fine. Uh, no. That's like one of four or five things that are extremely gross about that original scene.

The scene they filmed is barely any different. The differences: Cersei's thankfully not on her period, Jaime's been back a few weeks (he's had time to clean up and recover, so that must mean any sexual frustration he was feeling must have evaporated), and show Cersei isn't as oversexed, so she doesn't start immodestly moaning and talking dirty when he's inside her.

To clarify, I think it was rape in the context of the book and the show: Jaime forces himself on Cersei, who is naturally resistant at first but then pretty much lets it happen (and, in the books, appears to enjoy it when it does happen). The show simply did a poor job of executing it. Not that I blame them, since that's a... complicated scene. I was a little surprised they didn't cut it.
