(Spoilers none) Sending out some positive vibes to George

See if I had thousands of people, studying my every word, my every move and charting and constantly commenting on whether I was working on the thing they wanted or not, and then repeatedly guilt tripping me to do it... my reaction would be to try and escape working on that thing, and those people in order to try and retain my sanity and be actually capable of working on it at all. I expect that the more people did this, the more I would need my escape, and the less work I would get done, and the more my mental health would be affected.

I might even just be tempted to turn around and burn all the manuscripts and tell the fans that they had ruined it for me and screw them.

Try and put yourself in another persons shoes for a moment. How would you feel if legions of people were constantly criticising you in your job and trying to micromanage everything you do? If they openly described themselves as obsessively monitioring your time, and then repeatedly kept judging you as lacking, and saying things like you were wilfully neglecting your work?

Do you think you would thrive under those conditions?
