[SPOILERS] Do the Starks and everyone even know or care about what’s going on with Bran?

  • Bran could have been watching Ned Umber but what could Jon have done? Fly a dragon into another trap for the night king to gain another dragon. He couldn’t March is army North to protect Ned Umber far too much time. Ned Umber has to return to the Last Hearth to get his people who were there. No way round this.

  • The surviving Nights Watch aren’t trapped, they even talk about doubling up on horses and they will beat the AotD to winterfell. For once game of thrones actually put the reason in for travelling crazy distances

  • I think Bran doesn’t want to follow the Night King all the time. We’ve seen two incidents when one with Bran being touch when he’s in the Weirwood net, another when the Night King forced him out of the Ravens. He is powerful but so is the Night King and Bran isn’t stupid enough to put himself in that situation unless necessary.

Bran in Season 8 ep 1 actually uses his powers to tell them about the fact the Wall has fallen and the Night King has a dragon. The only flash backs recently have been of Jon’s parentage and how the Night King was created which we can all agree are essential to the plot. In fact he didn’t do any flash backs in season 8.

IMO you are just nitpicking at something that isn’t even an issue. You clearly aren’t that much of a fan either as you’ve misunderstood certain aspects of Brans story, the relevance of his flashbacks and statements from Season 8 ep 1.
