[Spoilers!] The Story of Dark Souls 3's DLC. Or why I think it's pretty good.

Or, how about this?

The DLC is not very good, and is not a very good """ENDING TO DARK SOULS SERIES!!!""" as it was advertised?

What part of that plot was at all relevant to the overall plot of Dark Souls? What did we accomplish, what did we learn? Nothing, we just wandered through some strange, disconnected areas with one-off enemies that don't really have any lore significance and never showed up in the rest of the series. Not only that but also pretty bad area design later on (areas basically designed to be rushed through due to sheer overwhelming force). Also, a final boss who is just some dickhead from the other DLC, which if you're like me, you didn't buy cause other people said it wasn't that good, but now you're up shit creek without a paddle because not only do you not understand who the hell this Slave Knight Gael guy is, you also have 0 use for the final item that he gives you unless you shell out 15 dollars. They advertised a journey through the twisted ruins of the rest of the series, and it just ended up being another plot thread on top of the pile.

Which would have been okay, if it weren't the last Dark Souls content.

Ever.
