[Spoilers] TFA Theories and Speculations Megathread, 1/8

This will probably get buried, but here goes. IMO, the big reveal of episode VIII is clearly going to be that Kylo Ren is Rey's father.

Its pretty obvious during Rey's interrogation that Kylo Ren treats her special. He LITERALLY removes his mask to reveal his humanity to her. Darth Vader also removed his mask to do the same...for his own child.

He makes an interesting comment about how Han Solo would've disappointed her as the father she never had. We assume the tension is because Kylo Ren is disappointed in his father. Is this tension actually because Kylo Ren is disappointed in his own behavior as a father?

Also consider the Rey Flashback when she touches the lightsaber:

During Rey's flashback, we get:

1) Darth Vader breathing, with what looks like the area in the Cloud City where Luke and Darth Vader fought for the first time.

2) Luke Skywalker with R2 in the rain, followed by Kylo Ren with his red lightsaber and the Knights of Ren

3) A vision of the future scene of Kylo Ren on Starkiller Base when Rey will face him in a lightsaber battle.

So, our conflicts so far have been an inter-generational conflict between Luke and Vader, and another inter-generational conflict between Luke and Kylo. Then, we end on a conflict between Kylo and Rey. Hmm.

Now, also consider this.

-Whoever left Rey has a stain on their character for never returning, and seemingly never planning to return. Luke, Leia, and Han are all prestine characters up to this point in the film. Maz Renata tells her that whoever abandoned her was never coming back for her. Are Luke/Leia/Han really the best candidates as the parents who would never come back for their child?

Or do we already have a conflicted, flawed Skywalker descendant who would do exactly that thing?
