[Spoilers]"You've eaten well by Gotham's wealth, but your feast is nearly over!" The Original Pyg

Yeah, and I actually like the fact that it's sort of like a mantle that is passed down. The person that stands up for right no matter how opposed and protects the city. Gordon is like a proto Batman for Bruce to take his place down the line. It's funny that there was recently a post on this forum comparing David Mazouz to Terry Mcginnis bc I do get a Batman Beyond vibe. Gordon is much more like Batman in personality than Bruce who is more like Terry. Especially after this rebellious party go'er arc. David just isn't the right personality fit for the role imo. Felt this way almost since the beginning. It's not the fault of his age either. Look back at Ben McKenzie in his younger acting years on the OC. He was still kicking ass He's,"Oh, what's that? You have a guy in my front my face? Pfft what are you going to do shoot? Yeah, alright, I'll walk aw..FUCK YOU I"M BATMAN!" and then he charges at him anyway.

If Gotham were to get canceled, the one silver lining would be that Ben McKenzie would be free to act other roles and could become the offical Batman actor in the DCU replacing Ben Affleck who is just terrible for the role too. Ben was born to play Batman. He has the perfect personality for it and is the perfect fit. And I'm not overstating myself either. He could be the Hugh Jackman's Wolverine of Batmans and save the DCU. The rest of the DC characters are really boring to me. That's the real reason why Justice League flopped. No one gives a fuck about cyborg. Just make Batman movies from now on pls DC. That's what people like and want. We loved the Dark Knight trilogy so much that we want more films like that. And cast Ben McKenzie as Batman instead, but only if Gotham is canceled.
