Not OP, but I have a Splinter Z and a Crafty, though I've used the Crafty a lot more as of recently.

IMO, it's somewhat hard to compare just because the Splinter has so much more manual control over it — what wattage you're running, how you're preheating, draw technique, etc. The Splinter can really rip, but at the expense of being pretty harsh (this might be a Z thing since I know the heater is different/more powerful). You can also get really low temperature tasty hits that are pretty wispy.

The Crafty vapor is just always consistently good. I was surprised at how I could get pretty thick, tasty clouds at pretty low temperature from it.

I see you have a Mighty. I've never used one, though I assume it's somewhat similar to the Crafty. The cooling unit really seems to make a difference and I think S&B engineered pieces just put out such consistently good vapor without having to think about it. I think there's probably a sweet spot on the Splinter where you're not too harsh, getting that pure convection taste, and getting a nice big hit that might surpass the Crafty. But there are a lot of variables at play to do that consistently. Maybe people who use one as their daily have this down. The Splinter seems to me like it could be more versatile in the types of different vapor production you can get from it, and when you hit it just right it's great. But on the flip side, I've had a few times where I just got way too hot with the Splinter where it was a little uncomfortable, whereas I don't think I could ever do that with the Crafty since it's more regulated.
