Sports Are Valued Way Too High

actually the answer might surprise you. many employers love hiring athletes

and again, you're absolutely hellbent on the idea of jobs. many things will help you get a job. clubs on adobe or excel seem ridiculous. how many people go to those- what do you do? those are skills that can be learned in free time. In ADDITION to partaking in a hobby. not everything in life needs to be related to improving your resume, in fact if you have that attitude youll live a miserable life

you're totally making things up. my father is 65 years old, and STILL plays sports every weekend. not every sport is a collision sport u know that right? tennis or squash aren't collision sports. you're speaking about football and rugby two very violent sports...not every sport is like that. people get injured yes- but your inability to read means you skipped over my argument that few % of injuries are actually serious. many are simply sprains and strains. maybe you hurt your wrist or ankle and then a few months later you're okay again! this back and forth is silly.

you're attitude to the what clubs or hobbies should do is so flawed I don't even know what to say- if im hiring somebody for a job, I care about their qualifications. that's implied. how you received those skills is irrelevant to me. I just want to know if you can do it- some people learn the stuff you mentioned in college, through classes, some learn on their own, some do what u describe I guess. that doesn't mean they cant also have hobbies of being active

in fact, if somebody has no interests, im generally never going to hiring them. how about that? I want somebody whos not a mindless robot with no creativity or passion. I want somebody who is not socially awkward, and has people skills. these are things that can be strongly developed through playing sports. it also depends what kind of job you want...then again- not everything in life is about jobs. get over it. im done with this childish back and forth
