I know. It's a tough situation. She is a lovely woman and a doting mother. She's also from a crazy small community in the Philippines where not many people have an education and folks are poor (developing nation poor, not Top Ramen in college poor). The Twins had TTTS and she had to travel extensively during pregnancy for healthcare. She was at high risk for losing one or both babies.

(More story) In fact, daddy isn't the daddy. They had "dated" while he was there on business. They became fond of each other, but he returned to the states. Six months later she contacted him and let him know the situation - pregnant, twins, serious health issue.

So he went back and married her. She was put on his insurance. Suddenly health care is readily available, and the girls were born healthy. He offered her to come back to the states and be his family.

They've been back in he US for years. She finished her degree and got a master's in education. She teaches at the school her girls go to. Their marriage is solid and full of love. The girls are wonderful little munchkins. He is happy. Best decision he ever made!

So... dressing them alike is kind of a quirk but in reality things could be so much worse!
