Imagine having a subreddit for American politics, and seeing nothing wrong with banning Americans from commenting on their own politics, but letting foreign accounts post, just so long as they agree.

I've done some thinking about the last four years and what seems to have happened to the left. The closest thing I can come up with is a slow-motion mental breakdown and break with reality.

I don't always like reality, but I do my best to accept it as clearly and accurately as I can. And I'm not always right. But instead of accepting it, the lunatic fringe has decided to distort it to match whatever version of reality they believe. Whatever version of reality they're living in diverged from actual reality about 4 or so years ago.
