The squad matches in this game are amazing. But solos are the least satisfying solos experience I've ever had in a BR. Those who agree - what are your suggestions? Those who disagree, what do you like about solos?

Regardless of which mode you play, my advice is, be as ready for anything as you can, be as versatile as possible, be unpredictable, be unconventional, don't follow the meta, write your own meta, make players conform to you, make them chase you and die because you're a trickster or make them run because you're a relentless animal, and MOST IMPORTANTLY

HAVE FUN!!! DON'T STRESS AND RAGE, ANALYZE AND ADAPT, DON'T PLAY SOME STYLE YOU CONSISTENTLY STRUGGLE WITH AND GET INFURIATED BY JUST BECAUSE "IT'S THE BEST WAY"

do your own thing and fool around, your slaughter and victory methods will forge themselves and you'll build some unique muscle memory and reaction time for things your friends will just be blown away by and may have never even considered, you just have to grind out those games to find your style

The one thing I find in common between all the haters online or when my friends complain is that they all usually have one major thing that bugs them repeatedly, usually stemming from them all trying to ride on one specific strategy from the get go, repeatedly putting themselves in positions other players are waiting to kill them in because they've already thought that plan through and half the time 2 players on the team have different ideas in mind, but it's crazy easy for one thing to ruin all of those plans or for 5 other squads/players to be trying to do the same thing as you and it comes down to a sudden deathmatch

try what I do, if it doesn't work for ya, then you found one more method NOT to try, but i promise you'll have a blast and at the very least it'll just get you more naturally used to getting out of wild situations because you're suddenly in one you never expected and there's no planning time, just simply adrenaline and reflex

try playing with no guns and see how far you can go, try going with only vehicles and master your driving/pilot skills, try random perks out at least once or twice, DON'T BE AFRAID TO DROP GHOST AND COLD BLOODED, try different guns, try different landing spots, try different field upgrades, try playing with no loadouts at all and work with what you find, try killing squads 1 by 1 or mastering the triple kill team wipe, try forgetting the goal of "last man alive wins" for a while and just shred

another helpful thing i've started doing since i'm able to record games now is go back and rewatch some to pick up on little key things i missed that could have been game changers

WOW this feels like a mouth vomit of text but i've been geekin on coffee for about 30 hours, been playing this game non stop all week and this seemed like a "let's discuss our styles/preferences" kinda thread lol didn't take me long to type this out and if i gave even one person a cool idea to try that helps em snatch a win then it was worth the few minutes :D

back to the slaughterfest i go! right now I'm on a mission to set the record for most vehicle kills in a single game
