Square Enix has lost the plot when it comes to game prices

Am I taking crazy pills or is this a nonissue? If people are price sensitive about $70 than they sure are price sensitive at $60 as well. Are people feeling compelled to pay for the game at launch?

Come on guys, this is PC Gaming. The abundance of deals and discounts that occur all year round is astounding. It's one of the biggest benefits in comparison to any other platform. Within 6 months to a year, games just do not carry their full retail price for any length of time. Hell, Days Gone just released in May and I got it for $24 and Deathloop has already hit $20.

By the time the EPIC Summer sale comes around, with their $10 coupon, you'll be able to buy it for probably $35. No one is being forced here to pay $70.
