There are maybe 100-200 squeegee kids. That’s way easier to address than the other types of offenses I’m guessing you are alluding to (speeding, drug use, etc).

It happens in the open too so it’s easy to spot. Pull some undercovers up on each side, toss them in a wagon and have them squeegee license plates after they get pressed for a decade or so. A few sweeps and I imagine we won’t have to deal with being harassed or having our cars kicked, scratched and hit every time we drive through Baltimore.

They should hit it from both sides making it illegal to give the kids money and actively ticket folks who do. If nobody paid up they wouldn’t bother doing it in the first place.

I am sympathetic to kids being bored and wanting to make money, and even applaud them doing it like this vs selling drugs, but a few bad apples have long since ruined it for everyone in Baltimore. It’s time to end it. Or license it.
