I'm sure they were happy and good for you. As someone who has been managing a lumber centric business please ensure you're charging overhead as well. Not even for the sake of competition because we aren't even remotely in the same lumber industry. But your time is more than your time. It's tool wear it's rent, it's unaccounted hours you didn't feel right about charging, it's endless factors that do in fact add to your cost. If I can give the most basic example, I am management in wood based manufacturing. We are FDA regulated so your results may very but any job we so has flat labor at $25/h and overhead sat the exact same time at $27/h, this is rent, this is parts, this is wear and tear, this is all the B'S that can make or break you in the long run. Coming from decades of success and optimization. Don't sell yourself short or you will fail. And not even for the reasons you've Expected
