RIP to the legend. My husband is a huge spider-man fan and we went to a comic con several years back that Stan Lee was attending. My husband brought some old-school Spider-man comics for Stan to sign and while we waited in line, we noticed that no one engaged with Stan and they simply wanted him to sign lots of comics, posters and such (probably to sell online). Anyway, when it's my husband's turn and Stan his signing his comics, my husband says, "thanks for being a huge part of my childhood, Stan." And for about 10 seconds, Stan is silent until he looks my husband up and down and says, "looks like you turned out alright." Really cool moment.
