Stan Lee’s daughter: ‘No one could have treated my father worse than Marvel and Disney’s executives’

Have fun getting any decent writers or directors to work on it after Disney puts it on a blacklist, which is what they are going to do. I don’t necessarily think they should have to take a 50/50 split or that the next movie is going to bomb without the MCU, but I think they have significantly overplayed their hand and that Disney is going to be vengeful.

If they had Tom Holland contractually obligated to the next film they might have been in a stronger position re: Spider-Man, but without that certainly they’re balanced pretty precariously, unless they want to reboot AGAIN already.

Disney owns most of Hollywood at this point. Maybe Sony have some secret game plan to deal with the future fallout from this decision but so far they’re not filling me with confidence. Disney is going to screw them at every opportunity from here on out. It’s not right, but that’s Hollywood.
