Staple items?

Stuff typically in my fridge for three people, I am dairy free, my husband is not:

  • half gallon of soy milk
  • half gallon of cows milk
  • sliced American cheese
  • shredded Mexican style cheese
  • shredded mozzarella
  • pepperonis
  • tofurkey vegan deli slices (I wait until they go on sale at Sprouts & stock up, they last much longer than deli meat)
  • hummus
  • follow your heart high Omega vegan ranch
  • vegan butter (smart balance or earth balance)
  • some eggs
  • a couple packs of extra firm tofu
  • a jar of pickles
  • vegan mayo
  • banana peppers
  • bbq sauce
  • soy sauce
  • a jar of salsa

Stuff I use it for: * soy milk or regular milk either on cereal or blended into smoothies or used to make oatmeal * make the husband grilled cheese sandwiches w cheese slices but vegan butter [he doesn't mind the dairy free butter] * use the shredded cheese to make quesadillas or put on egg and potato tacos for him * mozzarella + peps to make him pizza in various forms * I eat hummus on bagels or toast instead of cream cheese. * vegan ranch goes on lots of things. Salads. Tacos. Vegetables. * tofurkey slices + spinach + banana peppers + vegan mayo is my preferred sandwich. * I eat sooo much tofu. I love tofu scramble. Baked tofu. Tofu kebabs. Tofu on rice. If hes having scrambled egg tacos, I am having scrambled tofu tacos. * pickles + vegan mayo + a can of chickpeas and some veg is how you start chickpea salad sandwiches or lettuce wraps, which I also love. * soy sauce goes on rice or as a marinade for my tofu. Soy on soy, yall. * salsa on tacos or chips.

Not including veg cause veg can change wildly depending on what's on sale.
