Damn CBS. Damn them to hell. They never have, and never will appreciate the franchise rights that they hold.

To anyone who knows much about investing: I'm curious how much of CBS we would have to collectively buy under a shared LLC to exert enough influence to force CBS's hand on issues such as these. I'm imagining a company that trekkies could buy shares of, and that company's sole job would be to then use those funds to buy shares of CBS, and exert a focused trek-forward influence on the corporation. Obviously even a single share allows for some degree of say over CBS, but it would take substantially more than that to truly force their hand on issues such as these.
