I have the opposite opinion to you. I don’t think they nailed anything except the standard Star Wars trope of introducing a cool character only to kill them off very very quickly.

Ewan McGregor clearly hasn’t practiced his Alec Guinness accent in a long time and he doesn’t even sound like the Obi-Wan from his own performance in the movies.

Have you noticed that there’s none of the Star Wars screen transitions? No side wipes, diagonal wipes, fades, swirls, nothing. They completely forgot to include the thing that makes Star Wars what it is.

I’m happy you’re enjoying it but you’re in the minority I think, for the most of us it’s a dud.
