I'm not quite sold on Tom's model, I only got through 1.5 of the trilogy, it's hard for me to understand his style of writing (particularly the acronyms). Though I like his advice to evolve towards love and freedom from fear and suffering. I also thought I'd try just for fun to reach out and ask the larger conscious system (if such a thing exists), and a night or two later before I woke up in the morning I did hear a voice say something to me really quite clearly and out of place than I'd normally expect from a dream, it blew me away but then I felt myself coming awake. For a little while I was convinced it wasn't my own brain but it was probably just what I wanted to hear, I don't know.
