I had a similar thing but with my bipolar disorder diagnosis. My therapist said she would have to see if she agreed with it (a psychiatrist gave it to me). She has told me on multiple occasions she has never seen signs with me of bipolar. I am no longer seeing that psychiatrist so it's kind of confusing because I can't go back and discuss it with them. I also question the bipolar diagnosis because it was related to a med reaction. I think some therapists are slower to label, though. Like my therapist really wanted to ask about trauma and said it was shown to be related to bipolar disorder, and she never wanted to focus on the diagnosis.

However, my therapist does say it seems like I have OCD or OCD traits and my psychiatrist had said that to me to on my last visit. So they are in agreement with that at least.
