Worse still is the deletion of episodes from archives because they violate current woke standards. This has happened for several shows where episodes are removed. I imagine a pretty near future where they might ban international political content like they already do when we send media to China, but they also do it to the content we consume. They did that thing for the new Top Gun trailer where they removed Tom Cruises Taiwanese flag patches in the trailer because China doesn't recognize Taiwan.

They deleted one of the most popular episodes of the show 'Community' on Netflix and Hulu where Ken Jeong's character claims he's costplaying as a dark elf(a real thing in the game afaik) and looking like this and every single other lead of the cast scolds him and kicks him out of the game. The whole bit was that they kick him out because he was trying to get away with something and they all tell him it's wrong.

Ultimately I think they're just encouraging people to pirate.
