Starter cvs

Utmost importance is warp capability. In A12 you can warp to other stars only with a CV afaik. So a beginner CV should be warp capable.

Cost. Iron - copper and - silicon is not a concern. But it should not need any zascosium and erestrum to build.

Upgrade spots. You want to add a shield generator and a repair bay to your CV asap. It's less important since A12 station services, but still useful when there's no station in the system you're in.

Size, it should dock on bigger capitals and not look like a big tumor while doing so. Still, it should have enough hangar space for a size 1 SV and HV.

Cockpit visuals. It should give excellent vision of ground, so she becomes your exploration vessel, and not a mobile base you kinda drag around.

At least one spot for advanced constuctor.

Ample cargo space and lift capacity.

Reserved farm plot spots, but don't add them at the beginning. I play my games by hunting and using stations to restock food and medicine. So, if you somehow use them as floor itself (like most starter CV's), I end up with a hole in the ground when I remove them in creative. They are also a pain to craft and load into factory.

2 reserved spots for turrets, 2 reserved spots for weapons / drills.
