Starter tips?

Be careful not to take selling stuff and downsizing too far. I think a lot of people end of getting rid of perfectly good stuff they don't use regularly just to "get rid of it" when they are on that kick, then they end up having to rebuy it down the line when they do need it.

Very true, especially for new beginners of Minimalism. Take some time to really sort through your stuff, get rid of "extra" things but it's super easy to go overboard.

I had this problem when I first started, definitely threw things away that I had to either re-buy or just straight up regret throwing away (old sentimental things) without really putting much thought into it.
