I liked your originally comment where you “agreed 100%” with my comment before you deleted it. I still think the fact that you had to list five different comments describing different aspects of a lifestyle shows that success cannot be concisely. All of those questions are subjective, and the word success is subjective per person. Someone may be completely happy with how they live, their relationships, etc. and consider themselves successful and have others agree with them. But you may look at their lives and disagree, as well as others who see success in the same way you do. What you described was more contentment, and even teetering on happiness—another word completely ambiguous and vague. Also, is success interpersonal or merely an outward observation from others? If you want to clearly define success, you can’t. The dictionary says it’s merely hitting a goal or aim. That’s very subjective.
