Starting over.. need some help. (16yo/175cm/M)

Why not?

I'm not sure, I used to do both but for whatever reason I ditched them and just sticked with light romanian deadlifts for the hamstrings and incline DB and BB presses. Should I add them back?

Why does your height determine the absence of squats? Watch form videos, post form checks.

I squat, just not heavy. I know that squats put a lot of pressure on the spine, and even though that doesn't mean it will stop me from growing, an injury will. My form isn't the best due to some leg bone structure problems, and I doubt I'll ever be able to squat heavy and not worry about injuring myself. I should post a form check.

I don't really understand the point of switching from 2000 calories on training days to 1500 on rest days... why not keep caloric intake the same?

More calories on workout days = more energy and more protein so that the body can build muscle after the workout.

Less calories on rest days cause there's no need for more.

But really it's just a way to manage my calories and make dieting less strenuous.

You mention anxiety and depression... are you seeing a professional about that?

Yes, I am seeing a psychologist and everything is getting better. Hence why I can finally start focusing on lifting again and want to start over.
